Speed Queen 7.0 cu.ft. Gas Dryer DC5003WG

I'm still getting used to the dryer, so I can't yet say much. I am grateful that it dries my laundry and that I don't have to do things twice. Also, it's much shorter than my other dryer and since I'm 5'10" tall, I've started to use a stool to sit on to get things out when they've completed drying.

Received our brand new dryer and it didn't work. Didn't dry the clothes. Appliance seller didn't believe us and had to come back twice. First time they had to "order parts". Second time, same day, they mysteriously had the parts. We had to be VERY INSISTENT that it did not work. Ignitor didn't light the gas apparently. Frustrating and upsetting after waiting 10 days to even get one (in stock) installed!

Been using this dryer 4 months now and meets all my expectations performs as described. One thing I want to mention when you take your clothes out prior to the end of the cycle you need to turn off the timer as it will continue to run and go off accordingly as it does not know you removed the clothes. It wasn't until I chatted with another Speed Queen owner that I learned this.

My high end expensive Fisher Paykel dryer recently stopped working after 10 years. The washer was sympathetic and also gave signs of going out. My best friend suggested Speed Queen residential appliances because they're made in America ( Ripon, Wisconsin) and made to last 25 years.
It's an investment but so were the Fisher Paykel pair. Speed Queen produces a cleaner wash, in less time, every time. It's an investment but well worth it. The top load stainless drum is 3.5 which looks like a "Barbie" washer but holds a full load. No balance issues as with Fisher Paykel. Highly recommend for families and singles alike.

I absolutely ?? love it!!! Tired of doing laundry all of the time, thinking it is all you do?? You will feel alot different after owning it!! It is wonderful. It is around 25 minutes per load!
