Speed Queen Stacked Washer/Dryer Electric Laundry Center SF7003WE

It has exceeded my expectations by far. At first the price made me leery but it is the best bang for your buck

We waited for 8 months to get our washer dryer combo due to supply chain issues. I figured it would be well worth the wait given the brand?s reputation and the exorbitant price ($4300). Tried the dryer the first day and could not figure out why it would only run for 5 mins leaving the clothes soaked. Ran it on time dry and it worked fine. After calling SQ, our local distributor sent a technician. Turns out no sensor was installed in the dryer. There wasn?t even a cut out in the bulkhead area for the sensor. Just an empty wire harness with wires going to the power supply. Furthermore, this station comes as a set but does requires a 120v GFCI plug in addition to the 240v plug. Most other laundry centers can be powdered by one 240v plug. We needed to wire a new circuit just to use the washer, which was an added cost we were not made aware of. Even the dealer did not know it requires separate plugs. At this point I have no faith in SQ?s quality control or reliability. I?m not even sure how to this unit made it out of the factory, let alone all the way to my house and installed before such a huge error was discovered. Do they not check the assembly of each unit? Astounding at this price.

I love it....but when it was delivered it had a dent on the back of the washer. The seller (got it off Amazon) gave my a credit which was fine. Less than two months of operation, the dryer electrical panel malfunctioned. It was repaired and works fine now. Even with those two issues, I do really love this machine!

My opinion is based on the purchase of our new stackable Speed Queen, SF7003WE. We just love it! Our previous side-by-side SQ machines were still going strong after 10+ years of regular use. In fact, they were a very marketable item because they were in such great shape. That speaks volumes about SQ?s quality, longevity, & value. Guess that makes us forever SQ fans!
